In this role you will be required to manage and co-ordinate the front-line communication efforts including, content creation, PR, social communication, analytics, and more.   • Strategy, including creating multi-faceted strategies for various consumer-facing channels
  • Content creation including websites, blogs, social media posts, and interaction with platform followers, working with a team consisting of writers, graphic designers, videographers, etc.
  • Public Relations managing press releases and product announcements and education social media on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms across the digital stream
  • Support as the front lines for consumer complaints
  • Develop and implement content plans, in line with strategic objectives
  • Assisting in conceptualization and brainstorming for campaigns, projects and initiatives, alongside digital peers
  • Campaign ideation, working with the team to compile and deliver campaign ideas (backlog)
  • Work closely with analytics and community management teams to obtain community insights and trends, to develop strategic content
  • Providing insights and recommendations to monthly reports
  • Give strategic direction through community insights, idea generation and trend analysis
  • Long-term planning and digital ideas for achieving the business objectives of the brands
  • Active social and industry listening to identify opportunities for creative ideation, developing planned and unplanned/tactical content opportunities in line with the brands tone and creative direction.
Minimum Experience Level
  • 3 Years experience in community management
  • 2 Years Banking / Financial services or
  • 2 Years social media content creation experience on large scale brands.
  • Must know how to grow social followers organically
  • Must have previously engaged with fans and followers over social media
  • Must have previously adapted content to different social media channels
  • Abode Analytics is essential
  • Some CRM experience would be useful
Essential Qualification
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diploma / Social Media Certification
