Senior Help Desk and Training Officer

Job Type Support - Univen Funded Closing Date 24/3/2023 Job Requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology or any related field with five years working experience in service desk support and administration. Duties: Supports and maintains service desk. Participate in the planning and implementation of digital projects. Provide technical ICT and users support to the University community. Responsible for installing and/or repairing both hardware and software of PC's, tablets PC's, laptops, desktop computers, printers, and copiers. Assist users with computer-related issues such as trouble shooting equipment/network problems. Installs, configures, and upgrades operating systems and software on all tablet Pcs and other networked computers. Installs and configures PCs and peripherals such as printer and scanners as required for new installations. Assist users in the use of standard software including, but not limited to; anti-virus software, O365. Supervises service desk team and IT technicians. Contributes to the development, implementation and review of service desk related policies and processes. Implement departmental policies and standards and ensuring adherence to all security procedures. Provide advice, assistance, and training to IT users in matters that are technical in nature.
